how to close shotty

i don't want shotty on every second I'm using my computer,since it runs in the background once activated, how can i turn it off without restarting my computer?

Hi,
simply right-click on the shotty tray icon (bottom right in your taskbar) and choose "close shotty".

Anyway, you can let it run. It takes less than 5MB RAM (on my system) and less than 0.01% CPU, so basically nothing, except you are working with it. This is because literally Shotty does nothing, except registering the hotkey (default: Ctrl+PrintScreen) which is handled by Windows itself.
So you may have more performance less if you close and reopen it ;)
