Unable to install "Program too big to fit in memory"

Whenever I try to run any version of the installer I get a cmd window that appears and then dissapears. Not a chance to read the text.

After lots of tries I managed to freeze the screen the fraction of a second when the text was visible and it says " Program too big to fit in memory"

Why does it do this and what can I do to get around it?

I'm on a IBM Think Pad T60 with Windows 7 Professional

I have used BattCursor on this computer before, though at that time I had the RC version of w7

Hello :)

It looks like your file is corrupt.
Something must went wrong while downloading or extracting the application.

Please try to download it again, maybe with another browser if you don't use Internet Explorer. Disable download accelerators during this
You may also want to try to extract the zip archive with another application (open with windows explorer, 7zip, ...)

I always verify the uploaded files with internet explorer and the windows internal zip engine.

Hope you can figure out what was causing the error

Turns out that Opera decided to download it as an .exe file while it was in fact a .rar archive.

Downloading it with Firefox instead solved the problem and it is now working perfectly.
